The French Creek Diary

In August 1862, Confederate cavalry raided Buckhannon. A few months later, a 15-year-old girl twelve miles away on French Creek opened a new diary. Her three brothers were Union soldiers.

Her name was Sirene Bunten, and her diary still exists. You’ll read her real words.
